We have been to a lot of breweries so maybe we set the bar too high. My husband got the Kern Burger and I got a bacon cheeseburger. My daughter ordered the Olympic Pita and my son a hot dog with apple sauce. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great either including the beer. Their homemade root beer was good. If everything else is closed, I wouldn't hate going back, but I wouldn't go out of my way either. Service was fine but it was a bit warm inside.

The food was incredible. I definitely recommend getting the lil mama or the big daddy burger, the bacon-jalapeño jam on these burgers add a lot of flavor and bite. It was so yummy I finished everything. The bratwurst was good as well. The downside was the service. It took much too long to be attended to at the front, and it took awhile to get for them to get our order while seated. They also gave us the wrong order at first and took long to fill our drinks. And there were bikers were their feet up on the chairs. Impeccable food but they should better their service skills.

Woofing Good! Treated our dogs to a fine doggie meal at the KRB. We really appreciate and love our dogs and wanted to give them a special evening out and dinner. They enjoyed the meal and attention. Later the humans preferred to eat at the Pizzas Barn.

OK we went 3 times! both restaurants! Ordered the Harvest Quinoa Bowl, Smoked salmon bowl one day. Back the next for Root Beer floats and shared the Loaded beef potato wedges. These were at the Backyard Restaurant. The 3rd day we went inside the Original Pub and ordered the bacon Cheeseburger and Pear Cider. Awesome place

If you're going for drinks only, The backyard (Their second location right behind the main pub) has better views, a beautiful deck, the same amazing tap list, and offers faster service. Do not, however, make the mistake of going to the backyard if you're hungry. The food is very evidently frozen: baked wings, pretzel, and tater tots all tasted right out of the concession stand freezer. KRB's main pub location (in front of the backyard) has actual restaurant prepared dishes, proper fried wings, a house pretzel, great burgers, and plenty of tasty pub food. All in all, beautiful location, friendly staff, and tasty brews.

i been comming here for few years now and theres nothing better tge a cold brewsky with some wings and today i jumped in the silverado and rolled out to come drink me a cold one in this cool place ans man it nwver dissapoint from bakersfield to kernville just for a brewskie wut that tells you..

Surprised with the size and flavour of the food. Had a taste of the burger, sandwich and fries all being very good. Ate everything in our plates. Polite staff and a nice restaurant to sit in.
